(ummm… CAMEL TOE!!!)

got made!

The Jazz Festival was simply AMAZING! (yeah, that was the wine talkin’ too!)

My girlfriend and I strolled down the streets peering into the tented booths, through our sunglasses. The heat killed the Class!!  Our very cool wine glasses held daintily, half-filled with our beverage of choice we got from The Cute Guy pouring vino, we found a few tents to browse.

The afternoon was boiling and we were thrilled with our second glass, ahhh chilled! as we kept strolling, talking, sipping, looking and sipping.

Some of the most unique designs I’d seen in a while, neatly arranged on shelves and tables. There was great talent here and I appreciated ALL of it! I happen to be a sucker for creativity and the obvious, ART.

There it was! The HAT tent! I’m a HAT GIRL, bags, and shoes! I love them all! And TODAY!!! happened to be a hat day, in this miserable hot California fall weather! So we looked and FOUND!

GOT MADE and looked FAB! It was perfect!

Extraordinary Talent!

The Jazz Festival was hot, our glasses were empty and we were OUT!

Later on that night, I was showing the pics to a friend of mine who loudly announced to his own hilarity, “CAMEL TOE!!!” (Of course a GUY would have to find something wrong like that!!!!)

I looked, and there it was!! My great outfit, my MADE outfit, was uproariously ruined by my own neglect to wear the correct panty!!!!! NEVAHHH Again!!!

Fashionista Camel Toe

Ahhh, well… it happens! Even to the Fashionista Extraordinaire. (wink)

Wedge Wear day AND night!

Sandals are the first choice in shoe fashion where I live in California. Wedges are EVERYWHERE!

I love mine and have several pairs to choose from. But… I always need more!

At a recent Wine and Chocolate Stroll in fashionable downtown Danville, women were out in their cute wedges for some guaranteed night fun.  I had on my preferred heels, but what I saw, I loved!

I normally choose my colorful wedges for day-wear, however I think I’ll pull out a pair the next time I’m out at night as well!

Here’s to finding the versatile wedge!

My Picks:

Chinese Laundry

Lucky Brand

Naughty Monkey at Zappos

Seychelles

and my absolute favorite

Cesare Paciotti

Of course I’d wear those Cesare Paciotti’s anywhere! But for the casual fun in my downtown, I’d have to choose Naughty Monkey for their flare.

Moms in Fashion

Accessorizing Your Style

Accessorizing is a great way to add style. Here, a straw Fedora is worn by this stylish mom.

Heels, scarf, jewelry, handbag, you can add color to any outfit and look  fabulous!

Hats are perfect for warmer weather looks and the Fedora is a sure classic!

Developing your own personal style is a fun learning process. Your choice of accessories is an extension of You.

I prefer to go light on my accessories. Keeping it simple adds to my look. Some personal favorites are a pair of gorgeous heels, chunky bangles, and a bright purse. I also like to mix it up with a hat, belt or scarf.

Tip:Choose 2 or 3 accessory pieces to show off your taste.  Too many can be overkill.

Remember to keep an open mind while shopping. You may discover how fabulous you look in a hat!

Love It Nude? I Do

With the new Spring Trends  stocking every closet and drawer across the fashion globe, the shoe that spans the spectrum is “Nudes”.

Dressed for work or play, nude shoes can be worn with everything!

These Beauties add length to legs and since they go with everything, why not make them a staple in your shoe collection?!

Tip: The key to buying “nudes” is to make sure they go with your skin tone.

My Picks:

INC International Concepts

Michael Kors

BCBGeneration

Ivanka Trump

Via Spiga

Boutique 9

Flip Your Flops

Love your toes?

She won’t!

Men have hotter views to show us, of the fairer sex, than their feet. To put it plainly, narly toes sporting flip-flops are NOT OK!

The large population of men who wear them, don them for the cooling effect rather than fashion.

So try this alternative that is catching on in hot waves… Espadrilles! They are the best of both worlds. We don’t see your toes and you keep cool while looking HOT at the same time!

Made to conform to your foot, the canvas and rope sole espadrille breathes and allows for comfort on hot days.

Tip: With these classics, sizing down is a good thing. The canvas will stretch and fit your shape perfectly.

My Picks:

Soludos

Tom’s

Drilleys

Save your flip-flops for the beach or pool and wear Espadrilles instead for bumming around.

Flat Fashion

Flats are our sole’s traveling relief, whether on our feet or in our bag.

I love mine, and I take them everywhere! When the weather is wet and a little chilly, I like to keep my toes enclosed.

This winter I chose a perfectly red flat to add some pop in my drab wardrobe. But now that Spring colors are blooming on the shelves, I’m out to look for a softer pair…

I came across some Crocs while shopping and…

though their styles are looking a little less harsh on the eyes, I would have to be PAID to wear a pair.

My Picks:

Sperry Top-Sider

Delman

Sam Edelman

Fashion in the Rain

Gone are the days when wellies were only for tromping thru the mud.

They have evolved in modern times to be the shopper’s fav wear-around boot.

Rain or shine, ladies don their wellies, bright pinks to leopard prints.

  My picks:

1. Kate Spade

2. Ralph Lauren

3.Hunter

What I wear? Kate Spade. I like the ladylike look with the bow and the animal print makes a splash with any ensemble.

Bold and Beautiful!

Springtime has hit California in full bloom.  Yellow is popping up all over! From sweet daffodils to saucy dresses, it will catch your eye.

Yellow happens to be a color that makes me look sick, and for years I have sworn off it! I’m now boldly embracing the color I refused to wear.

These Bitten sandals by Nine West caught my eye with that little buckle amid the straps! It’s a Must Have for my Spring Shoe Collection.
